Answer

Through my wonderful journey of searching for the difference between world space and local space (pertaining to various 3-D modeling software's and game engines), I believe I have found the answer!

World space is the absolute (X Y Z) coordinates of all objects. While local space is the relative coordinates in relation to a particular reference object. A good example of world space would be where your home is located in the universe, whereas in local space where is your car located in reference to your home.
